Sanana (suh-nuh-nuh) is a rhythmically driven piece which starts out unison with the motif, subtly breaking into two parts, and then into four and a legato descant. Sections throw the motif back and forth, gradually escalating rhythmic chaos. With lots of room for the addition of creative staging, Sanana is sure to be not only a wonderful challenge for an advanced treble ensemble but a definite crowd pleaser!
