J’Entends le Moulin is a popular French-Canadian folk song which has seen many choral arrangements. Known for its quick pace, rhythmic motifs, and quirky lyrics, it has become a favorite to choirs everywhere. Despite its repetitive child-like melody, the rhythm and quick articulations are far from simple. Mimicking the spinning of the mill wheel, “tique taque, tique taque” becomes a playful tongue twister!
